We cook our oxtail slowly, until it is so tender that it falls off the bone without much coaxing. The sauce is rich and tasty and goes perfectly with potato mash and veg, or rice and veg, or the most popular way, with sadza and spinach (with or without sadza).
Our spinach and tomato is perfect with this, but spinach with peanut butter (spinach ne dovi) just raises the game.

For our meals that are served with sadza / nshima / pap / ugali are packed in separate containers, the sadza is wrapped separately. Meals that are ordered with rice, potato mash or any other accompaniment are served in the same container as detailed below.
Weight quoted for serving sizes (Petite 350ml, Regular 500ml, Large 600ml) is the total weight of the serving, that is – the combined weight for all components of the meal. We quote them in ml as those are the container sizes they are served in, however this is used interchangeably with grams. Thus 350ml = 350g for the purposes of our servings.
